Carbon Neutral Policy
Natural Elements Landscape is committed to offering our landscaping services in an environmentally sustainable way and reducing our Carbon Footprint. Since some landscaping requires fossil fuels and emmisions to complete the job, we donate to a non-profit organisation, Trees for the Future, which plants trees in tropical regions. One tree in the tropics captures approximately 25kgs of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year. Over the course of a 40 year lifespan, each tree captures 1 ton of carbon dioxide, thereby reducing the amount of greenhouse gasses.
Trees for the Future planting projects are done in collaboration with local communities, providing essential jobs and helping to reverse environmental degradation. Trees stabilize soils and provide natural habitat for forest plants and animals.
